Sedanini get their name from their shape, reminiscent of the stem of the vegetable of the same name. They're a short pasta shape, similar to small macaroni, with a slightly curved or arched shape. Our ridged version allows them to hold the sauce better. They're suitable for a variety of sauces, from richer ones like ragù and vegetables to more delicate ones, and are also ideal for baked dishes or minestrone soups.
